Te Rarawa Anga Mua Announcement

General Manager Appointment

It is with much pleasure we take this opportunity to announce the appointment of the new Te Rarawa Anga Mua, Kaiwhakahaere - General Manager, Paulette Lewis-Montino.

Paulette is of Te Rarawa descent with affiliations to Te Rarawa Marae on her Mum’s side and Roma Marae on her Dad’s. She brings 17 years of experience working within Te Rarawa across various roles including service delivery, leading teams and operationalising Te Rarawa strategies.

The appointments panel were impressed not only with her in-depth knowledge of the organisation but also her passion for our people and her desire to innovate and improve the organisation for their betterment.  Relationships are of the utmost importance to her and we are confident in her ability to consolidate those she already has within and outside of Te Rarawa as well as build new networks and relationships to carry us forward into the future. Creating opportunities for others to develop and make their contributions is one of Paulette’s strengths as is her integrity, and honesty.  We are excited to be working with Paulette and look forward to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all those involved with TRAM.  We will formally welcome Paulette into her new position with a pōwhiri on 10 February 2023.

Te Rarawa Anga Mua Board Directors would like to acknowledge George Riley who was previously our Kaiwhakahaere - General Manager.
