Pou Ahurea - Vacancy
Purpose of the Position
The key purpose of this position is to support Operations with activating the Pou Ahurea elements of the Runanga Strategic plan including gathering the comprehensive knowledge/ mātauranga Te Rarawa and understanding of tāngata whenua o Te Rarawa to build hapū marae capability, self-reliance, connectedness, and social cohesion.
The position will drive and be involved in a wide variety of projects and have specific responsibilities in assisting with the development and implementation of hapū marae aspirations and objectives.

- Professional Experience and Credibility - Experience in preparing and presenting reports and
recommendations to decision making bodies.
- Team relationships - Fosters and exhibits a strong team spirit, as a manager and team member within the Hapū Anga Mua (Hapu Development Team) and the wider organisation
- Strategy - Demonstrated success in strategy development and execution.
- Kaupapa Māori - A demonstrated knowledge of lwi aspirations and able to take an intergenerational approach.
- Communication skills - Encourages a culture of communication by demonstrating professional communication
style.
- Results orientated - Able to deliver results by maximising organisational effectiveness and sustainability
