Te Rarawa Anga Mua - Kaitāia
Exciting new roles available
Tai Pīrere Whānau Learning Engagement Kaimahi (six vacancies) - Join our kaupapa!
Are you deeply connected to your community and passionate about helping tamariki and whānau thrive in education?
We’re looking for Whānau Learning Engagement kaimahi to deliver a kaupapa that reignites a love of learning for our taiohi who are disengaged from school. This isn’t a typical case management role — you’ll walk alongside whānau, helping them navigate challenges and co-create pathways to educational re-engagement.
Your Role:
- Build trusted relationships with whānau.
- Facilitate wānanga for our whānau and co-design their learning pathways.
- Be the dedicated kaimahi for your local hapori, working within one of six local zones in the Kaitāia catchment.
You’ll Bring:
- Strong community ties and a heart for whānau.
- Experience in education, social work, youth work, or community health.
- Confidence in Te Ao Māori and a full driver’s license are essential.
- Empathy, resilience, and the ability to build trust.
If you believe in the power of whanaungatanga to create change, we’d love to hear from you.
Tai Oro Business Analyst (one vacancy) - Help us tell the story of our kaupapa.
Are you a data expert who loves storytelling and cares deeply about community?
We’re looking for a Tai Oro Business Analyst to support our new learning re-engagement kaupapa. You’ll manage service data, track performance, and most importantly, tell the story of our mahi — blending numbers with narrative to show the impact of our mahi but most of all, the success of our whānau.
Your Role:
- Master Ministry of Education data systems.
- Prepare clear, insightful reports.
- Combine quantitative data with qualitative insights.
- Support continuous improvement and contract reporting.
You’ll Bring:
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with data tools and reporting (ideally in government contracts).
- A strategic mindset, a passion for, and in-depth knowledge of kaupapa-driven work.
- Fluent or conversant in te reo Māori would be an advantage.
If you can find the story in the stats and want to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Tai Tuia Administrator (one vacancy) - Be the organisational heart of our kaupapa.
Are you the calm, organised centre that keeps everything running smoothly?
We’re looking for a proactive Administrator to support our new learning re-engagement service. You’ll be the first point of contact, providing a warm and mana-enhancing experience for whānau and stakeholders.
Your Role:
- Coordinate referrals and wānanga logistics.
- Manage our Whānau Fund with diligence and care.
- Provide high-level admin support to the team.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in senior admin or office management.
- Strong financial admin skills and Microsoft 365 expertise.
- A good working knowledge of te ao Māori and a commitment to using te reo Māori.
- A calm, positive, and organised approach.
If you’re an exceptional organiser who wants your mahi to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
