Te Rūnanga o Te Rarawa

Fund Writer 

Te Rūnanga o Te Rarawa is seeking a skilled Fund Writer for a three-month contract (December 2025 – February 2026), reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

As a Fund Writer, you will be responsible for developing polished, consistent, high-quality material that supports tenders for external contracts, common RFP responses, capability statements and proposal collateral.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and understanding of Te Rūnanga o Te Rarawa will be a minimum requirement
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • A broad understanding of socio-political trends and kaupapa Maori issues
  • An appreciation of Iwi Post Settlement Governance Entities will be an advantage
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Availability in Kaitaia on a regular basis
  • Clean, current driver’s licence, own vehicle, computer, and phone

Contract details:

  • Negotiable rate based on qualifications and experience
  • Mileage reimbursed as required
